Going Viral (thoughtfully)
Whatever it is you’re offering you’d better hope it’s not a virus.
Viruses don’t care who they infect, everyone is a target.
You actually care about the people who use your products, whereas a virus’s only aim is to survive. You are not in the business of survival because you actually want to make a difference for the people you serve.
Going viral with intent:
1. Create something people want.
2. Know who you want to infect.
3. Have a compelling reason to infect them.
4. Give people something to talk about. Not more kittens (no matter how cute they are)!
